WHY

This is an initiative from danish tech startups. We are a membership-based trade association on a mission to create the best conditions for tech startups and scale-ups in Denmark. We believe an important part of that is BUILDING strongER connections between the entrepreneurs, investors and company builders THAT SHAPE our local communities and that there is great power in bringing good people together under the same roof.

We think events like this can play an important part in strengthening the startup community, sharing knowledge and DRIVING local collaboration. But also in building the danish tech brand internationally, ATTRACTING highly skilled TALENT and providing a regular focal point for international media, investors and entrepreneurs coming to town.

We believe this is something worth investing in. we are working on the best way to make this a sustainable, regular and valuable part of the copenhagen technology community. Got input or want to join as a volunteer or community sponsor? ping maria@techstartup.dk.

Who we are

the association for tech startups in denmark

Our mission is to create the best conditions for tech startups and scale-ups, and ensure the growth of tech companies in Denmark.

More than 50 experienced tech startup entrepreneurs and investors took the initiative to create the Association in the summer of 2020 including Tradeshift, Planday, Vivino, Too Good To Go, Pleo, Founders, Rainmaking and Queue-it.

We are already busy working on initiatives to improve conditions for building companies in Denmark because while we believe there are many advantages to starting a company here, we are still way behind on critical issues like employee stock options, D&I, public procurement access to international talent. Want to become part of the conversation? Become a member today to get a seat at the table tackling the most important issues facing your company.
